Objective: To evaluate the clinical curative effect of the treatment of Medical Ion Knife combined with herbal fumigation on high paraplegia simplex archosyrinx. Methods: Selected 150 patients who suffering from high paraplegia simplex archosyrinx and being cured in our hospital’s Anorectal between November 2014 and November 2015, separated seton group and Medical Ion Knife group by using table of random number, each group has 75 patients, the seton group used the traditional treatment of cutting through secton surgery, and the Medical Ion Knife group adopted the treatment of Medical Ion Knife surgery, both groups chose herbal fumigation as a combination, after that, conducted retrospective analysis and compared the clinical effect. Results: 100% curative ration for Medical Ion Knife group, higher than the 94.67% curative ration of seton group (χ2=4.1096); The postoperation VAS rating and wound healing period of Medical Ion Knife group are (2.2±0.54) score, (19±6.45) d separately, obviously better than those in the seton group (4.7±0.85) score and (28±9.15) d (t=21.4995, 6.9623); there is no postoperative recrudescence for Medical Ion Knife group in the 6-month follow-up, but the ratio of recrudescence for seton group is 6.67% (χ2=5.1724); there is statistical significance on the comparison of postoperative major and minor curative effect between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: Curing high paraplegia simplex archosyrinx by utilizing Medical Ion Knife has outstanding curative effect and low recrudescence, meanwhile combing with the treatment of herbal fumigation can promote wound healing and postoperative recovery.
