摘要

在计算机技术快速发展的时代,人工智能(artificial intelligence,AI)与数字化病理图像的结合日益影响着病理学的大部分领域,有助于病理诊断转向数字化。膀胱癌(bladder cancer,BCa)是泌尿系统常见的恶性肿瘤,病理诊断是诊断BCa的“金标准”。近年来AI技术在BCa病理学领域取得突破性的研究进展,成为实现BCa精准诊疗的催化剂,在一定程度上可提高诊断的客观性、准确性以及自动化程度,有望成为病理医生的有力辅助诊断工具,指导临床医生制订个体化治疗方案,从而改善BCa患者生存获益。

Abstract

In the era of computer technology developing rapidly, the combination of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital pathological images is increasingly affecting most areas of pathology and is contributing to the transformation of pathological diagnosis into digitalization. Bladder cancer (BCa) is one of the most common malignant tumors in urinary system, and the pathological diagnosis is the “golden-standard” for the diagnosis of bladder cancer. In recent years, the breakthrough research progress based on AI technology in the field of bladder cancer pathology becomes a catalyst for realizing accurate diagnosis and treatment of bladder cancer. To a certain extent, AI technology improves the objectivity, accuracy, and automation of diagnosis, and it is expected to become a powerful auxiliary diagnosis tool for pathologists and to guide clinicians to develop individualized treatment plans. Ultimately AI technology will improve the survival benefits of patients with bladder cancer.
