Abstract
Intestinal infection caused by pathogenic microorganisms are a common group of clinical infectious diseases in children. Recently, it has been found that enteric microorganisms have a negative impact on the growth and development of children. Enteric pathogenic microorganisms can enter the host intestine, disrupt the normal intestinal microenvironment of the human body, and disturb the ecological balance in the intestine. That includes damage to the intestinal mucosa, increase/decrease of intestinal permeability, inhibition of normal intestinal microbial function, etc., thereby hindering the transformation and absorption of nutrients by the body. Parents and clinical workers should raise awareness of the prevention of intestinal infection microorganisms that are prone to occur in children’s growing environment.
