Abstract
Objective: To investigate the application effect of perioperative personalized nursing intervention in the treatment of senile cataract by Phacoemulsification and aspiration (Phaco) + intraocular lens (IOL) implantation, and to provide relevant guidance for clinical nursing of patients. Methods: A total of 94 cases elderly cataract patients who received Phaco + IOL implantation in our hospital from January 2020 to May 2021 were selected, according to the random odd and even number method, the patients were divided into control group (receiving routine nursing intervention, 47 cases) and study group (receiving perioperative personalized nursing intervention, 47 cases). Three months after surgery, the postoperative visual acuity and psychological status [Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) and Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS)] before and after nursing intervention were compared between the 2 groups, and the complications and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were analyzed. Results: Three months after surgery, the proportion of visual acuity ≤0.3 in the study group was 4.26%, which was observably lower than 23.40% in the control group (P<0.05), the proportion of visual acuity >0.8 was 46.81%, which was observably higher than 25.53% in the control group (P<0.05); after nursing intervention, SDS and SAS scores of patients in both groups were observably lower than those before nursing intervention (P<0.05), and the scores of SDS and SAS in the study group were (43.23±4.26) points and (42.06±4.11) points, which were observably lower than those in the control group [(54.22±5.35) points, (51.78±5.09) points; P<0.05]; the total complication rate of the study group was 6.38%, which was observably lower than 31.91% in the control group (P<0.05); the nursing satisfaction of patients in the study group was 97.87%, which was observably higher than 78.72% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Perioperative personalized nursing intervention in the treatment of elderly cataract patients with Phaco + IOL implantation has a significant effect, which can promote the obvious recovery of postoperative vision, improve their adverse psychological status, significantly reduce postoperative complications, and further improve their nursing satisfaction, which is worthy of promotion and application.
