Objective: To explore the effect of feedforward control nursing in patients with temporary epicardial pacemakers after cardiac surgery. Methods: Eighty-six cases patients who underwent cardiac surgery in Ruijin Hospital of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from January 2020 to February 2021 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly (random number table method) divided into two groups. The control group was carried out routine nursing during the perioperative period, and the study group was carried out feedforward control nursing. The clinical efficacy, the satisfaction with nursing, time of using temporary pacemaker, the levels of saturation of pulse oxygen (SpO2) and heart rate between the two groups were compared. Results: The total effective rate and total satisfaction of the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05); the use time of temporary pacemaker in the study group was significantly shorter than that in the control group, SpO2 and heart rate were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The application of feedforward control nursing in patients with temporary epicardial pacemakers after cardiac surgery can improve clinical efficacy and increase satisfaction.
