Objective: To investigate the comprehensive nursing intervention on the pain and life quality of osteoporotic thoracolumbar vertebral compression fracture (OVCF) patients. Methods: A total of 126 cases of OVCF patients in our hospital from January 2013 to January 2015 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and intervention group, each group contained 63 cases. The control group was given conventional nursing measures, and the intervention group was given comprehensive nursing intervention. The pain degrees and life qualities before and after the nursing of these two groups were compared and statistically analyzed. Results: After the nursing, the pain degree and life quality of intervention group were significantly better than those of the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion: The comprehensive nursing intervention can not only well restrict the pain condition, but also can improve the life quality.
