Objective: To explore the effect of teamwork mode applied to elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures. Methods: A total of 130 elderly patients with intertrochanteric femoral fractures admitted to our hospital between February 2019 to February 2020 were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number table method, 65 cases in each group. The control group implemented routine model intervention, and the observation group implemented teamwork mode intervention. The hip joint function recovery effect, the degree of pain before and after surgery, the incidence of complications and the quality of life were compared between the 2 groups. Results: The excellent recovery rate of hip joint in the observation group after 7 days was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05); the pain level of the observation group after 7 days was lighter than that in the control group (P<0.05); The total postoperative complication rate was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05); the physical function, social function, psychological function, and material life score of the observation group after intervention were higher than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Teamwork mode applied to elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures can promote hip function recovery, reduce postoperative pain, reduce the incidence of complications, and thus improve the quality of life.
