Objective: To investigate the effects of psychological nursing intervention on anxiety and complications in patients with hemoptysis. Methods: A total of 62 patients with hemoptysis were enrolled in this study, who were treated in Emergency Comprehensive Ward of The Second Affiliated Hospital of Suzhou University from November 2017 to January 2019. The patients were divided into study group and control group by the international random alphabet method, with 31 cases in each group. The control group underwent routine nursing and the study group underwent psychological nursing intervention on the basis of routine nursing. The anxiety score and occurrence of complications of the two groups were analyzed according to the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS). Results: The SAS scores of patients in the two groups decreased significantly after nursing, and the SAS scores of patients in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group. The incidence of complications in the study group was significantly lower than those in the control group, with a statistical significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion: Psychological nursing intervention has a significant effect on patients with hemoptysis, which can relieve their anxiety, and reduce the incidence of complications and is worth clinical application.
