免疫相关的GTP酶家族M的研究进展

摘要

免疫相关的GTP酶(immunity-related GTPase,IRG)基因家族编码的蛋白在人类、鼠等脊椎动物中普遍存在,IRG基因家族在人类基因组中仅含有2个基因:免疫相关的GTP酶家族M(immunity-related GTPase family M,IRGM)和IRGC。IRGM与慢性传染病、肺结核、炎症性肠病、强直性脊柱炎等多种炎症性疾病有关,且IRGM能促进黑色素瘤和肝细胞癌的发生和细胞生长,在自身免疫性疾病环境下调节巨噬细胞亚群极化和细胞因子的产生。对IRGM的研究将有助于更好地了解系统性疾病的发病机制,并将IRGM靶向治疗与免疫细胞治疗相结合,在疾病相关的细胞因子给予合理干预,有利于系统性疾病的治疗。

Abstract

Proteins encoded by immunity-related GTPase (IRG) gene family are ubiquitous in vertebrates such as humans and mice. and this gene family is related to anti-infection and autophagy. IRG gene family contains only two genes in human genome: immunity-related GTPase family M (IRGM) and IRGC. IRGM is also related to chronic infectious diseases, pulmonary, inflammatory bowel disease, ankylosing spondylitis and other inflammatory diseases. In addition, IRGM can promote the occurrence and cell growth of melanoma and hepatocarcinoma, regulate macrophage subpopulation polarization and cytokine production in the context of autoimmune diseases. The study of IRGM will help us to better understand the pathogenesis of systemic diseases, and combine IRGM targeted therapy with immunotherapy, and give reasonable intervention to disease-related cytokines, which is conducive to the treatment of systemic diseases.
