Abstract
Objective: To screen differentially expressed genes related to the prognosis of breast cancer and provide a reference for the prognosis evaluation and potential target research of breast cancer. Methods: This study focused on the second-generation high-throughput sequencing of genes from breast cancer tissues and paired adjacent tissues to screen for differentially expressed genes and to analyze their function and prognosis. Results: A total of 795 differentially expressed genes were up-regulated in non-triple negative breast cancers, and the number of down-regulated genes was 1 008. Triple negative breast cancers up-regulated 1 067 differentially expressed genes and downregulated 1034 genes. The main pathways for enrichment are cell cycle, systemic lupus erythematosus, DNA replication, viral carcinogenesis, and alcohol-poisoning pathways. Conclusion: Up-regulation of EIF4G1 and CENPF may be associated with prognosis of breast cancer and are potential targets for breast cancer treatment. SEPT2 can provide a better prognosis in improving the prognosis of breast cancer.
