Objective: To study the influence of team psychological training on the mental health and self-consistency and congruence of operating room nurses. Methods: Selected 68 nurses in operation room of Tangshan City People’s Hospital Affiliated to North China University of Science & Technology (37 cases) and Affiliated Hospital of North China University of Science & Technology (31 cases). Divided the patients into control group and observation group by random number method, 34 cases in each group. The nurses in the control group were given routine psychological guidance and humanistic care, on this basis, giving the observation group nurses team psychological training intervention for 8 weeks, compared psychological quality score and ability of self-consistency and congruences of two groups of nurses before and after the intervention. Results: After training, the observation group of interpersonal relationship, paranoia, hostility, other and general psychological quality score were significantly lower than those of control group (P<0.05) and before training (P<0.01), self-consistency and congruence, self-flexibility and total score of the observation group were significantly lower than those before training (P<0.05), self-consistency and congruence and total score of observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The team psychological training for operating room nurses can significantly enhanced nurses’ mental health, and improve the nurses’ ability of self-harmony. It has very important value to improve the quality of nursing in operation room, and is worthy of promotion in clinical.
