Abstract
Objective: To analyze the correlation between degree of fatigue and social support and its influencing factors in patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage. Methods: The clinical data of 95 patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage who were treated in Huai’an First Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University from December 2020 to December 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS) and Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS) were used to evaluate the degree of fatigue and the level of social support. The correlation between the degree of fatigue and the level of social support was analyzed, and the univariate and multivariate analysis of the degree of fatigue of the patients was carried out. Results: The total score of fatigue in 95 patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage was 4.22±0.69. Univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in different age, marital status, educational background, Hunt-Hess classification, and complication fatigue score (all P<0.05). The subjective support, objective support, and utilization of support in 95 patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage were lower than the domestic norm, and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that age, marital status, Hunt-Hess classification, and social support level were independent risk factors affecting the degree of fatigue in patients (all P<0.05); the degree of fatigue in patients was significantly negatively correlated with the level of social support (P<0.05). Conclusion: The degree of fatigue in patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage is negatively correlated with the level of social support, and age, marital status, Hunt-Hess classification, and level of social support are independent risk factors that affect the degree of fatigue in patients. Targeted measures should be taken as soon as possible to relieve fatigue and improve the level of social support.
