摘要

Objective: Aberrant expression of collagen triple helix repeat containing-1 (CTHRC1) is widely present in solid human tumors and seems to be associated with cancer tissue invasion and metastasis. Here we study the biological functional role of CTHRC1 in CRC cells. Methods: Western Blot was used to detect protein level of CTHRC1 in six human colorectal cancer cell lines. GV287 empty vector and GV287-CTHRC1recombinant vectors were transfected in SW480 and SW620 cells. CCK-8 assay and colony-forming experiments were used to compare the proliferation rate of different groups. In vitro transwell assay was used to evaluate the invasiveness ability of the different experiments groups. Results: The CTHRC1 expression level is different in 6 kinds of CRC cells; colony formation rate of CTHRC1 overexpression group was lower than the NC group. The results of in vitro transwell assay showed that cells had significant enhanced invasiveness after transfected with the CTHRC1. Conclusion: Our study showed that CTHRC1 can promote metastasis but decrease the proliferation of CRC cells. And more experiments are needed to find out the accurate mechanism of CTHRC1 in CRC progress.
