Objective: To study the clinical effect and analgesic effect of comprehensive nursing for patients with ENT surgery. Methods: The subjects were 124 cases ENT surgery patients in Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University from June 2013 to December 2015, and randomly were divided into a control group and an observation group, 62 cases in each group, the control group of patients were given routine nursing intervention, on this basis, the observation group of patients were given comprehensive nursing intervention, the VAS scores in preoperative 24 h and postoperative 24, 48, 72 h, the nursing satisfaction, total effective rate and the incidence of complications such as hypoxemia, laryngeal edema, tongue retropulsion, aspiration, pulmonary atelectasis, etc. were compared. Results: The VAS scores in postoperative 24, 48, 72 h of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.01), the total complication rate of the observation group (4.84%) was significantly lower than that of the control group (19.35%) (χ2=6.14, P=0.01); the nursing satisfaction of the observation group (95.16%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (79.03%) (χ2=7.18, P<0.01), the total effective rate of the observation group (91.93%) was significantly higher than that in the control group (77.42%) (χ2=5.03, P=0.02). Conclusion: Comprehensive nursing for patients with ENT surgery has significant effect, which can effectively relieve postoperative pain, reduce the incidence of complications, improve nursing satisfaction and treatment efficacy. It is worth in clinical promotion.
