Abstract
Objective: To explore the effects of nursing intervention strategies on the promotion of breast milk secretion, breastfeeding and self-efficacy. Methods: A total of 74 cases of puerpera receiving routine nursing in Wuxi Ninth People’s Hospital from May 2017 to May 2018 were selected as the control group, and another 74 cases of parturient women admitted to Wuxi Ninth People’s Hospital from June 2018 to June 2019 who underwent intensive paternal intervention were selected as the observation group. The changes of single milking volume, exclusive breastfeeding rate and self-efficacy at 3 d, 3 weeks and 3 months postpartum were compared between the two groups. Results: The number of single milking in the observation group at 3 d, 3 weeks and 3 months after delivery was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The exclusive breastfeeding rates of the observation group at 3 d, 3 weeks and 3 months postpartum were all higher than those of the control Group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The self-efficacy scores of observation group at 3 d, 3 weeks and 3 months postpartum were higher than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: The application of intensive father participation in supporting nursing intervention in maternal health can promote its milk secretion, and improve the rate of exclusive breastfeeding and self-efficacy, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
