Pathologic features and literature review of primary testicular carcinoid
Objective: To explore the clinical characteristics of primary testicular carcinoid, histopathological and immunohistochemical characteristics. Methods: One case of primary testicular carcinoid was collected for the microscopic observation and literature analysis. Results: The cancer cells in testicular carcinoid group formed nest or funicular or very solid block arrangement, area of the visible adenoid structure, gland cavity is irregular, nucleus is located in the central, circular and nuclear fission is rare. Conclusion: Primary testicular carcinoid is low-grade malignant tumor, prognosis of primary testicular carcinoid is better than with a relative deviation carcinoid syndrome and transfers of prognosis.
