Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect with the method of suspension and double circle fixation of children with clavicle fracture. Methods: 80 cases of clavicle fracture treated in our hospital were randomly divided into control group and observation group from June 2013 to September 2014. The control group was treated with the suspension method and the observation group was treated with double circle fixation method. These two groups were performed for 1 year follow-up. Results: The cases with good treatment effect in the observation group were more than these in control group, the excellent and good rate was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). In the control group, there were 5 cases with bone nonunion, 4 cases with deformity healing and 6 cases with delayed union. However, there was only 1 case with delayed union. Also, the healing of bone healing rate was significantly better than that in control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the CS scores and total scores of the two groups were all increased. Also, the scores of observation group were significantly higher than these of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Double circle fixation method is the better method for treatment of children clavicle fracture, which can promote the normal healing of fracture and improve the function of shoulder joint activity. It is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
