Objective: To investigate the effects of care issue tracking mode hemodialysis patients self-care capacity and quality of life. Methods: One hundred patients were selected from our hospital and in March 2012-May 2014 in accordance with the random number table method consisting of randomly selected nursing group (50 cases) and control group (50 cases), the control group using conventional methods nursing care, the nursing group was given care issue tracking model with questions based on the way the tracking routine care interventions nursing care model. Results: The patients’ age, gender , duration and type of kidney failure between control group and the nursing group was no significant difference (P>0.05); The SAS and SDS scores of the control group were lower than the nursing group patients, and the nursing group members had no psychological problems of depression and anxiety; The nursing group total score points were higher than the control group from the four face self-care (P<0.05); the nursing group’s score and scores also were higher than the control group from the six-party care (P<0.05). Conclusion: Issue tracking model of care could improve self-care capacity and quality of life of patients.
