摘要

生长分化因子-15(growth differentiation factor-15,GDF-15) 是转化生长因子-β(transforming growth factor-β,TGF-β)超家族中的一员,是一种应激反应蛋白。GDF-15可由巨噬细胞、心肌细胞、脂肪细胞及内皮细胞等释放,在心血管疾病、肿瘤、肥胖、肾脏疾病及炎症反应等组织病理性损伤状态下发挥多种作用。血清GDF-15水平与病情严重程度相关,并且GDF-15是疾病进展的一个高度可靠的预测指标,在多种疾病中具有作为疾病生物标志物的潜在价值。

Abstract

Growth differentiation factor-15 (GDF-15), a member of the transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) superfamily, is a stress response protein. GDF-15 can be released by macrophages, cardiomyocytes, adipocytes and endothelial cells, it has been shown to play multiple roles in various histopathological damages, including cardiovascular diseases, tumor, obesity, kidney diseases and inflammation. Circulating level of GDF-15 is correlated with severity of disease. In addition, GDF-15 is a highly reliable predictor of disease progression, and it possesses potential value as a disease biomarker in various diseases.
